In these times of slow down, when VCs are reluctant to invest, angel investors are one of the main sources of funding.
A group which every inventor should be aware of is the YABA – Yorshire Association of Business Angels. The association includes 135 and is a non-profit. Submitting an executive summary is just 50 GBP and you get 135 investors to look at it.

For him it goes to show that “the innovative digital world of the future is shaped elsewhere, mainly in the United States, and not in Europe, let alone in Germany” and yet I’m not sure that in innovative Israel the parliament is more enlightened on these themes…

The UKIPO gives preferential treatment to patent applications realting to environmentally-friendly technologies. It will fast-track any green application. The requirement to satisfy the UKIPO about the environmental benefits of the invention that is the subject of the application is not very onerous: a simple letter to the UKIPO at the time of filing the application will do the trick!

We would like to start with some domain name decisions. So far, the special tribunal of the Israeli Internet Association (the equivalent of WIPO domain name dispute resolution body) gave 23 decisions. We will try, in the next couple of months, to bring them in full English text.
